Alpha agreement
This is a draft placeholder. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and the final text will replace it before anyone outside the founder’s own family is invited. Nothing here is a final term.
What the alpha is
The alpha is an early version of Kinsort for the founder’s family and a few invited friends. It is unfinished. Things will break, screens will change, and we may ask you to update often.
What we ask of you
- Use Kinsort for your family and close friends, and invite only people you know.
- Tell us what is confusing or broken. Write to hello@kinsort.com.
- Do not post anything illegal, and do not post anything of someone who would not want it shared.
- Be 18 or older. There are no accounts for children.
What we promise
- No ads, and no selling or sharing of what you post.
- You can export everything you have posted, at any time, from the Settings screen.
- You can erase your account, and with it your data, from the app.
- We will tell you plainly if something goes wrong with your data.
What to expect
- The alpha is free. If that changes, we will tell you first and you will not be charged without saying yes.
- The alpha is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available. Keep your own copies of anything you could not bear to lose, and use the export.
- We may end the alpha, or your part in it, with notice. If we do, you will be able to export everything first.
